From the beginning of my career, I have always felt that a portrait should be more than a mere record by lens and film (or digital device) of what is placed before it.  Everyone desires a flattering image of themselves but if that's all you get, then only part of the story has been told.  The most important part, like who you are, what you love, what you're passionate about, is lost.  "Story", is the historic record of our lives and it can be told in words but even better through images.  The Senior Portrait, while oftentimes motivated by a yearbook deadline, is an opportunity to tell their story as our children reach this important milestone in their lives.  This session with Eric was absolutely amazing!  His passion for music inspired my passion for telling his story.  No image can be more flattering than to witness someone doing something they love!
